Nursery FINISHED!

Today I added the final touches to Cooper's nursery! Less than 40 days and our little Cooper will be here! (If he shows up on time.) His room is nice and small so I had to get a bit creative. My goal was to have a classy-whimsical nursery. I know the time will come when Cooper wants a tacky sports poster on the wall, and it will smell like gym socks soon enough. For right now, I have the opportunity to make it look (and smell!) just the way I want! Like it or not, Cooper will love it!

This is Daniel's Father's Day present from Cooper! Shhhh don't tell. (Daniel might see this, but he rarely reads our blog so my guess is it will still be a surprise!) It's a basket full of sports equipment. It includes: full size basketball, football, baseball, soccer ball, t-ball bat and baseball glove. Everything Daniel needs to teach Cooper to be a competitive athlete. (I think it will be a little funny of Cooper just likes to read. hahahaha)

Cooper's reading chair! (Just in case he doesn't love sports like daddy.)

I am in love with this awesome name artwork by Lauren Woodson! I gave her a few ideas and this is exactly what I wanted! (The colors are a PERFECT match to the ones in his room!) The little book shelf is something I have always wanted. Cooper has over 100 books so this is a cute way for me to show them off. (A few of them at least) And the little sock monkeys are from Cooper's Grammy.

Planing and decorating Cooper's nursery was one of the BEST things about being pregnant! Yay for fun and good memories.
